Wakil (Arabic for agent) is a compiled Revit add-in that puts an AI assistant on the ribbon: ask it to audit a model, set up sheets, or run the everyday automations in plain language, and review every change before it lands. Built by the team behind the A4A tool library, it works with the AI account you already have.

How is it delivered?
As a per-user installer — a PowerShell script you run once, no admin rights needed. It is not code-signed yet, so Windows may ask you to confirm past a SmartScreen prompt the first time. Your download link arrives by email after purchase, and the assistant then lives on your Revit ribbon.
What do I need installed to run it?
Node.js 20 or newer on your PATH (the chat agent runs on it) and the WebView2 runtime (already present on current Windows 10 and 11). The installer checks for both and points you to the download if either is missing.
Do I need an AI subscription?
Wakil works with the AI account you already have. A4A does not resell model access.
